Forza Horizon 6 is entering an especially interesting period for drivers who enjoy experimenting with different cars and driving styles. The final Spring season of Horizon Mascot Party is active from September 3 to September 10, while a new Drift Attack experience is scheduled to arrive on September 7. With Forza Horizon 6 Credits available for building and tuning different cars, this is a good moment to prepare more than one setup instead of relying on a single all-purpose vehicle.

The Spring Festival Playlist already offers plenty of variety. Players can work toward the 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R at 20 points and the 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock at 40 points, while other activities include Cross Country racing, street championships, Time Attack, PR Stunts, a Treasure Hunt, Horizon Racing, The Eliminator, and Horizon Stunt Party. This mixture makes the final week of the current series feel more like a collection of driving experiments than a traditional weekly race schedule.

The Starion is an excellent example of why tuning should start with the route rather than the upgrade menu. Its stock configuration is a C 446 rear-wheel-drive car using a 2.5-liter inline-four that produces 188 horsepower and 234 lb-ft of torque. On narrow streets, that relatively modest output can actually be an advantage because the driver has more opportunities to practice carrying speed without constantly fighting excessive wheelspin.

A useful Starion setup can begin with tires and braking. Once corner entry becomes more predictable, suspension adjustments can make the car easier to control through linked corners. Only after the chassis feels comfortable should additional power become the priority. This method may sound slower than installing every available performance part, but it creates a car that is easier to drive consistently.

The Dodge Dart has an entirely different personality. Its 7.0-liter V8 produces 425 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque, making acceleration the obvious attraction. However, a large amount of torque can expose poor throttle habits. Spinning the rear tires may look spectacular, but controlled acceleration is much more useful when the goal is a fast race time. Smooth throttle application out of slow corners can help keep the car moving forward instead of wasting its power.

The current Unlimited Buddies championship provides another change of pace. It uses Unlimited Buggies in A Class across Oka Cross Country Circuit, Shimanoyama Cross-Country, and Stadium Cross Country Circuit. Cross Country driving rewards stability, suspension control, and preparation for jumps. Approaching a jump with the vehicle reasonably straight can make the landing far easier to manage, while unnecessary steering corrections in the air can turn a good run into an awkward recovery.

The Hot Hatch Chasers championship moves the action back onto asphalt with Super Hot Hatch cars in B Class. Its routes include Minami Chase, Daikoku Chase, and Tokyo City Docks Charge. These urban circuits are ideal for practicing braking points because several corners can arrive in quick succession. A car that feels slightly slow on a highway can be extremely effective here if it turns quickly and exits corners cleanly.

The Edamame Time Attack is another useful training ground. The Spring version requires a Super Hot Hatch in B Class and lists a 39-second target. Instead of treating the event as a one-shot challenge, repeated runs can reveal exactly where a tune needs improvement. If a car loses time in one particular corner every lap, that is a much clearer tuning clue than simply looking at the overall performance rating.

The temporary Edamame circuit also demonstrates how Horizon 6 is increasingly mixing open-world driving with more focused competitive activities. Time Attack allows players to enter a dedicated circuit directly from the world and chase better times without turning the activity into a conventional championship. That makes it particularly suitable for players who enjoy improving their own driving rather than simply beating AI opponents.

The current Tokyo City Region Treasure Hunt provides the opposite experience. Instead of searching for the fastest route between checkpoints, players need to follow the photo clue and locate the treasure. The Spring Treasure Hunt is positioned in the southern Tokyo City area, with the chest located near the Tokyo City Food Delivery job. It is a small activity, but it encourages players to actually look at the environment rather than treating the city as a blur between races.

Exploration is also a useful way to discover better routes for ordinary racing. Familiar roads become easier to memorize when landmarks are associated with braking points. A particular building can become the signal to start braking, while a bridge, sign, or change in road surface can help identify the correct turn-in point. These visual references are especially useful when racing at speed and there is little time to stare at the mini-map.

Then comes Drift Attack, which is arguably the most interesting upcoming addition for players who prefer sideways driving. Playground Games has announced that the feature is scheduled to release on September 7. The permanent Drift Attack circuit will be located at Shimanoyama Circuit, and players can enter it directly from the open world without a loading screen. Unlike Time Attack, the objective is to earn the highest drift score rather than the fastest lap.

Drift Attack also introduces Clipping Zones. Drifting through these designated areas can increase the points earned, adding another layer to the usual drift mechanics. The activity supports solo play, Convoys, and competition through leaderboards. It is therefore not simply another Drift Zone with a different name; it gives drifting a more structured competitive format within the shared world.

For anyone preparing a drift car, traction control becomes especially important. Playground Games specifically encourages players to turn traction control off for Drift Attack. That means throttle control becomes a major part of the skill. A driver who constantly applies full throttle may produce dramatic slides but struggle to maintain a controlled angle. Small throttle adjustments can keep the rear tires rotating while allowing the front wheels to guide the car through the intended line.

The new feature also connects directly with the Horizon Festival Campaign. Completing Drift Attack progression can unlock a customized 1990 Jaguar XJ-S Forza Edition designed for drifting, while a standard version of the Jaguar XJ-S is also being added to the Autoshow. This gives drift enthusiasts a concrete long-term target beyond simply improving leaderboard scores.

The timing of Drift Attack is particularly interesting because the British Automotive celebration begins on September 10, immediately after the current Mascot Party series ends. Playground Games has announced a British Automotive takeover at the dealership, three British cars new to Horizon that can be earned through the Festival Playlist, and four additional new-to-Horizon cars for Car Pass owners.

That upcoming transition gives collectors another reason to keep an eye on the Festival Playlist. The current series has already mixed tiny cars, Japanese classics, American muscle, rally machinery, and unusual performance vehicles. The move toward British Automotive should create another shift in vehicle selection and give players fresh opportunities to compare different approaches to handling and performance.

For example, lightweight cars reward momentum, while powerful muscle cars reward careful throttle control. Rally cars need stability over uneven surfaces, and drift builds need enough power to maintain wheelspin without becoming impossible to control. A well-organized garage can therefore function almost like a driver's toolkit, with each vehicle selected for a particular type of problem.

U4GM can be another convenient option for players who want more flexibility when organizing their Forza Horizon 6 garage, particularly for those who value affordable pricing and a straightforward purchasing experience. The important part is still the gameplay: testing a tune, learning a route, mastering a difficult corner, or finally holding a long drift through a Clipping Zone. For players considering Forza Horizon 6 Modded Accounts, the additional flexibility is most useful when it creates more opportunities to explore the game's cars, seasonal events, Time Attack challenges, and upcoming Drift Attack experience.
